Pathfinders

Back by popular demand Pathfinders 2013 offers your scout the opportunity to spend a day or more at Scoutland (map) and earn a merit badge then go home to sleep in his own bed at night. Your Scout can earn his choice of Archery, First-Aid, Fishing, Radio, Leatherwork and Basketry, Photography and Fingerprinting, Rifle Shooting, Swimming, Welding, and Wood Carving. Scouts can attend from June 10th – 14th and June 17th – 21st.

Summer Camp 2013

Believe it or not, it's time to start thinking about summer camp. We will be going back to Rainey Mountain outside of Clayton, GA this summer. We are scheduled to attend from June 30th through July 6, 2013.

Why summer camp?
This is a great chance to not only enjoy the great outdoors, but to earn rank advancement and merit badges. If this is your first time at summer camp, you will be encouraged to take "TNT". This program works on many of the rank requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class. All scouts can take merit badges as well. Rainey Mountain is offering 63 merit badges this summer, ranging from American Heritage to First Aid to Swimming and Woodcarving.

Philmont 2014

As announced at the Court of Honor, we have been accepted to go to Philmont in 2014. The dates are July 2nd - 14, 2014.
After the first of the year we will start getting together to discuss training, gear, money, fund raising, etc.
